Craig McClain is the Assistant Director of Science for the National Evolutionary Synthesis Center, created to facilitate research to address fundamental questions in evolutionary science. He has conducted deep-sea research for 11 years and published over 40 papers in the area.   1. I’ll be in Chapel Hill too. Just think what will happen to ocean blogging if things turn really bad! 90% of us live in the path of this storm!

  2. I’d offer refuge, but it looks like New England’s not out of the woods yet either. Stay safe everyone…and for dog’s sake resist the urge to check out the storm surge!
