    1. Hi there, No one has ever seen whale sharks mating (they don’t spawn), so I can’t tell you that. If you want to know simply when whale sharks are gathering in the Yucatan, it’s Spring for Honduras, Spring/early Summer for Belize, May 15 to Sept 15 for Cancun/Isla Mujeres and summer and early fall for the northern Gulf of mexico.
