Its Thanksgiving in the US. I am thankful for being in the company of 4 amazing blogger scientists who are dedicated to solving diverse problems in conservation, basic science, communications and outreach. Thankful for 2 gorgeous, overly enthusiastic kids and a beautiful, loving wife. I am thankful for the opportunity do what I think is fascinating research in an awesome coastal Carolinian city.

  1. Me, I am thankful for an awesome girlfriend, my three kids and grandkid, my girlfriend’s kid and all the kids in the world who make me chuckle and laugh. Also thankful that you bloggers keep us up to date on what is happening in a world we rarely see.

    Happy Thanksgiving to DSN.

  2. I am thankful for an awesome science blogger who keeps us all informed and his wife, both of whom I miss deeply, my daughter, son-in-law, and 3 grandchildren, my husband of 37 years, my mom, brother and sister-in-law, and my job doing what I love-teaching. A very special thanks to DSN and all you do to help us understand what is really going on.
